An authentic representation of the SE5A flown by Major C E M Pickthorn MC in 1918 and famous for downing a Fokker DV11 over Chimay in Belgium. The kit contains: Accurately printed plan, laser-cut parts, tissue, rubber motor, propeller, detailed instructions and PVA wood glue. Wingspan: 16 inches (410mm). All models in this series have real airframes, built up from laser-cut balsa sheet and strip parts, covered with lightweight model aircraft tissue to ensure the best possible flying performance. All necessary materials are included in the kit but to complete this model but you will also need pins, a modelling knife, sand paper and pliers.
